Whether you require a carton with simple protective end caps or a multi-process routed, water-jet and laser marked complex insert, we are able to machine to the highest levels to give optimum performance for the application.

Our processing methods include water-jet cutting, die-stamping, CNC routing, robot finishing as well as the usual band-knifing and cutting.

The foams we utilise cover all commercial and industrial needs in terms of packaging support, cushioning and protection.

Chipfoam

All densities including green 4lb, orange 6lb and red 9lb. Available as standard and combustion modified.

Closed-cell expanded polyethylene foam including Stratocell, Ethafoam, Plastazote, Microlen

These are available in densities ranging from 15 - 200 kg/m3 and features include water and chemical resistance, energy absorption under impact and good insulation properties. Plastazote and Ethafoam are used extensively in the defence packaging and aerospace industries. Plastazote has exceptional cell uniformity being cross-linked, which gives an excellent cushioning stability. Conductive, anti-static and flame retardant foam grades are also available as standard stock.

Open cell polyesters and polyethers

Although both polyester and polyether foams offer high quality performance, polyester foams are generally slightly stiffer than polyether foams and have a more regular cell structure. This means they are more suitable in specific applications where their inherent properties can be fully exploited. In addition to this polyester foams offer superior performance properties such as: high tensile strength, UV and light resistance, temperature resistance, hydrophilic performance, thermal oxidation resistance, weld-ability, solvent resistance, resistance to ageing.
